  • Pay Clerk – Vacancy Announcement: Athens-2022-29, Open period: 07/07/2022 – 07/21/2022, Full Time: 40 hours per week. Basic Function of the Position: Reporting to the Supervisory Payroll Liaison, serve as main timekeeper and provide backup support in Locally Employed Staff payroll and taxes, American payroll reporting, Official Residence Expense payments, and processing of Education Allowance payments.  Support the Class B Cashier by performing all cashiering duties in the absence of the Class B Cashier, assisting with filing, and processing of daily transactions such as Consular collections and deposits to the bank sweep account. 
  • Federal Benefits Claim Representative – Vacancy Announcement: Athens-2022-31, Open period: 07/11/2022 – 07/22/22, Full Time: 40 hours per week. Basic Functions of the Position: This is the expert level for Federal Benefits Claims Representatives responsible for developing and processing the full range of the most difficult, complex, and responsible federal benefits related claims work which frequently requires comprehensive investigations to determine initial and continuing benefit eligibility. The incumbent prepares and submits complete and authoritative final adjudication packages to the Social Security Administration (SSA) for final action. Although the most extensive federal benefits program involves SSA benefits and services, the incumbent is also responsible for any claims work involving the benefit programs of the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the Railroad Retirement Board (RRB), and the Department of Labor (DOL).
  • HR Assistant – Vacancy Announcement: Athens-2022-32, Open period: 07/11/2022 – 07/22/22, Full Time: 40 hours per week. Basic Function of the Position: The incumbent holds duties that cover both the American and Local staff portfolios: responsible for Mission Awards Program; Merit Based Compensation Program, develops training materials and delivers briefings/trainings to post employees, raters, reviewers, and pool supervisors ; Position Classification; ORE Coordinator, CSR Retirees, and HR Office Translator.
