Members of the Embassy community service network, headed by Ambassador Pearce’s wife Leyla, joined residents of the Cerebral Palsy “Open Doors” Center in Athens for a day of painting.  Embassy volunteers joined Center residents to paint large movable canvases, creating pieces based on the themes of diversity and accepting differences.  All painters were excited to work together and created more than 25 paintings.  Several of those paintings are now showcased at the Embassy in an homage to our support and strong bonds with the residents and the people that care for them.
