On Sunday June 3, 2018 thirty University students participated in the Mindspace finals contest that took place at Eugenides Foundation with the support of the U.S. Embassy and the participation of the Deputy Chief of Mission Kate Marie Byrnes.
The Mindspace pitching competition gave the opportunity to more than 100 young graduates to receive training in presentation and pitching skills, and receive practical information on how to start their own business in Greece. This year the workshops took place in the cities of Ioannina, Chania, Volos and Athens. The three winning teams will travel to the U.S. to attend workshops and visit important innovation and entrepreneurship hubs this fall.
Mindspace was formed in 2015 by a group of students at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) who wanted to break out of the theoretical engineering and technical education they were receiving and promote a more hands-on, experienced-based type of learning.
