The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Athens, Greece will be closed two days this week due to a Greek holiday and an external office training day, as detailed below:
Wednesday, October 26, 2022 – Closed
Friday, October 28, 2022 – Closed for Greek OXI Day (Public holiday)
We will be open for normal business (by appointment only) on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 and Thursday, October 27, 2022. The Consular section will resume normal business from Monday, October 31, 2022. During the closures, we will not offer appointments for U.S. passports, notarial services, visa services, or federal benefits. Callers seeking assistance with an emergency involving the death, arrest, hospitalization or serious illness of a U.S. citizen may contact the Embassy at 210-721-2951.
