Public Diplomacy Programs Award Floor and Ceiling: USD 10,000 – USD 50,000
This funding opportunity is in support of Greece’s 2021 celebrations, as agreed upon during the 2019 Strategic Dialogue between the governments of the United States and Greece. Approved programs that wish to be implemented in coordination with the National Committee “Greece 2021,” come under its auspices and benefit from the use of its logo, will need to receive further approval by the Committee. Other relevant initiatives may also be considered. The funding opportunity pertains to programs highlighting the American contributions to the history of the Greek War of Independence, the bilateral collaboration through the last 200 years and the future exchanges between the two countries and peoples.
The U.S. Embassy Athens Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) in support of programming to highlight U.S.-Greek friendship as a part of Greece’s upcoming commemoration of the 200 year anniversary of the start of the Greek War of Independence (“bicentennial”) in 2021. This NOFO outlines our priorities and the procedures for submitting requests for funding.
