The  Athens American Center is part of the Public Affairs section of the U.S. Embassy in Athens.  It is an American Space providing mainly business English programming and youth capacity building events.

In addition, the Athens American Center provides reference services to Greek government officials, journalists, researchers and others who are interested to access U.S. based source material.  Our collections are almost entirely electronic.  We have access to commercial and government databases and help you to get in touch with other American libraries and research centers.

As a founding member of the Committee for the Support of Libraries, the Athens American Center organizes events with U.S. experts on topics of interest to librarians and information professionals in Greece.
